Homemade Bite-size Empanadas would make for the perfect appetizer during this christmas party season! INGREDIENTS 1 packet Gow Gee Pastry 600 g beef mince 1 large onion, diced 1 large red capsicum, diced 1 Tbsp dried oregano 1 Tbsp Paprika 1 Tbsp cumin 1u002F4 tsp cayenne pepper 1u002F2 cup chicken stock 1u002F4 cup saltanas 1 Tbsp agave syrup Salt Oil for frying RECIPE 1. Saute onion and capsicum in olive oil. Add salt to help release the water in the vegetables. 2. Add mince, and saute until it starts to caramalise. Then, add spices, saltanas and agave. 3. Deglaze the pan with chicken stock, and simmer until most of the liquid has evaporated. 4. fill each pastry with about 1 tsp of meat mixture. Fold in half, placing a thin layer of water around the rim of the pastry to help it seal. Optional - fold rim over to form pattern in video. 5. Deep fry and serve with chimichurri
